Workshop Outline:
- Entertainment industry questions and answers session.
- Each actor will be given two actual sitcom or drama scenes from a script to perform with another actor as a cold read exercise. Time will be given to work with your scene partner.
- Receive performance adjustments and feedback.
- Learn who is making the decisions and how they decide.
- Get an understanding of the business side of "The Business."
- Learn the office etiquette here. Every casting director and every casting office has likes and dislikes.
- Learn new audition techniques and how to prepare for a cold reading.
- Know what "special" thing you have to offer. Every actor feels they have something “special” to offer.
- Discuss goal setting, marketing and Los Angeles resources to help you with your acting career.
- Review your current headshots and learn how to select your next headshot photographer.
